Casa Neptuno is a lovely beach house atop a hill overlooking Remanso Beach, a quiet and uncrowded beach just 15 minutes drive from San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. A meandering staircase leads you up to the home to overlook the bay. Spectacular sunset and ocean views from every room are provided by an open air floor plan and spacious veranda, complete with rocking chairs and hammocks. There is a fully equipped kitchen, hot water, a pressurized water system and all rooms are completely furnished with locally made furniture.

Sitting on a breezy hilltop, Casa Neptuno has constant, fresh, ocean air. All rooms have ceiling fans, plus the two pleasant bedrooms, each with private bath, are screened so the ocean breeze can rise with the sound of the surf. Prices include weekly cleanings, though more services are available upon request from the friendly caretaker who lives nearby.

Remanso Beach, a perfect swimming and surfing beach, is a short, three-minute walk from the house. The shallow, sandy bay is protected from undertows or rip tides. In addition to Remanso Beach and the charming port town of San Juan del Sur, Casa Neptuno is close to Lake Nicaragua and the island of Ometepe, colonial Granada, Mombacho and numerous other volcanoes, the turtle reserve at La Flor and shopping in the villages of Masaya, Catarina and San Juan de Oriente.
